Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark on television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas to pursue her career in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas in a long time and quickly moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, including commercials and independent films. Despite her small part-time roles, she quickly realized her love for acting. The year 2001 saw her move in New York where her first character was on All My Children's soap opera as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG and Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men in the mid 2000s. The year 2004 saw her landing her first series-wide role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside some of the greatest TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi as well as Mitch Pilegge. The role she played was A.D.A. in Law & Order in which her most memorable performance was that of 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Then she joined the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in drama-based television shows. De La Garza landed a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments afterwards. Her role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. The show was cut by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has an Italian father and brother Cory which is a years older than her. Her family was strict and religious parents. Milano started her acting career when she was just seven years old. The babysitter took her along for an audition. Out of more than 1,000 applicants her name was picked among only four. Milano made appearances in adverts on television and off-Broadway which included the American musical version in the form of Jane Eyre.
